Our community meeting with *the* Adam Giambrone is being held at Casa dos Acores. This community centre, which serves alcohol, is at 1136 College Street, just west of Dufferin. This photo above shows how bleak the "community centre" looks from the back... a boring old patch of pavement will match it perfectly, don't you think?
Be there at 6:30pm, even though the parking lot was paved this morning. :(

Just to update everyone. There was never a meeting to discuss the concerns of residents affected by the parking lot. It was a meeting of the Portuguese Club to pat themselves on the back for completing an unthought out archaic 10 year old plan to build a parking lot in an area where there are 25 - 30 children. They even invited another Portuguese councilperson from a different area to tell Adam Giambrone how wonderful he was! What a joke!
I was offended and angry and conveyed that sentiment in what I had to say to these bullies. Maybe that was a bad thing but then again maybe it was a good thing. Did I accomplish anything? Likely not but at least someone knows that I think they did not give any consideration to anyone other than the members of their club.
I think some members felt bad but do not expect to be invited to any of their homes for dinner! DANG!
